Bio

Sarah Chisholm is an Australian artist based between Newcastle, Australia and Saint Denis in the north suburbs of Paris.

Working in textiles, found object sculpture, projections and sound, Sarah creates works and 3D installations that explore the climate crisis and women’s relationship with fertility, independence, identity and aging.

Sarah studied Fine Arts at the University of Sydney, Social Science and Policy & Social Innovation and Enterprise at University of NSW, and ‘Course au Fils’ (Textiles) at Ecole d’arts plastiques Gustave Courbet in Saint Denis, France.

Sarah has combined her work as an artist with the co-design and co-development of a number of environmental repair spaces and social enterprises that work at the intersection of social and environmental justice.

Since 2019, Sarah has focused largely on her artistic practice in Saint Denis.

And teaching ESG part-time in Paris.
